About this visa

We file the GCC-resident e-visa and follow it until your permit arrives, for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the other emirates.

Saudi citizens need no visa for the UAE: GCC citizens enter with their passport or national ID card, without a visa, permit or sponsor. This page is for residents of Saudi Arabia of other nationalities.

GCC residents need an e-visa obtained before arrival, issued by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) or by GDRFA Dubai. The permit is valid for 30 days from issue, allows a stay of 30 days from entry, and can be extended once for 30 days. The applicant's profession must be on the list of professions approved for this visa, subject to the authority's assessment.

How we work with you: you send us your passport, iqama and photo; we check their validity and your profession before applying, then file the application online and follow it until your permit arrives, usually within 1 to 2 working days. No one can guarantee approval: the decision rests with the UAE authority.

Questions

Before you apply

Do Saudi citizens need a visa for Dubai?
No. GCC citizens enter the UAE with their passport or national ID card, without a visa.
Does the visa cover all the emirates or only Dubai?
The visa is for the whole country, so you can move between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the other emirates during your stay.
Can I get the visa on arrival?
Not for GCC residents: the e-visa must be issued before you travel, so apply a few days before your trip.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes, once, for another 30 days; request the extension before your permitted stay ends.
What if my profession is not on the approved list?
The GCC-resident e-visa may not be granted, but other routes may exist depending on your nationality, such as a tourist visa issued through a licensed UAE sponsor. Contact us so we can review your case before applying.
