Marina Bay

Marina Bay is ringed by Singapore's best-known skyline: the towers of the financial district, the historic Fullerton Hotel, and Marina Bay Sands, whose three towers carry the SkyPark 200 metres up, with an observation deck open to visitors and an infinity pool for hotel guests.

At the mouth of the Singapore River stands the Merlion, the city's symbol, 8.6 metres tall since 1972. A wide promenade links all the sights around the bay, along with the Helix Bridge, shaped like DNA.

In the evening the free Spectra light-and-water show plays on the waterfront and the buildings around the bay light up. It is the best area for your first stay in Singapore.
