Discover Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada
Sharm El Sheikh sits at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, Hurghada on the African shore of the Red Sea, with the Gulf of Suez between them. Both are resort towns with warm sun all year, clear water and coral reefs a few metres from the beach.
Sharm has Naama Bay, the Ras Nasrani area and its fine resorts, and about half an hour south lies Ras Mohammed, Egypt's first protected area (1983), with its coral walls and fish. From Hurghada boats leave for the Giftun Islands and their sandy beaches, and to the north lies El Gouna, built around lagoons.
The large resorts here suit families: quiet private beaches, children's clubs, spacious suites and many restaurants, and we can arrange a private boat for your family. Spring and autumn are best; winter is warm by day and mild in the evening.
