Discover Dahab
Dahab is a small town on the east coast of Sinai, on the Gulf of Aqaba, about an hour and a half north of Sharm El Sheikh. Its cafés sit right on the water with the red Sinai mountains behind, and it is known for its calm, simple pace.
Dahab's sea is among the best-known diving areas of the Red Sea: the Blue Hole north of town, the Canyon, and the Blue Lagoon with its calm shallow water. From Dahab, four-wheel-drive trips head into the coloured canyons and to the Ras Abu Galum protected area.
About two hours away by car, Saint Catherine's Monastery stands at the foot of Mount Sinai; the Saint Catherine Area has been on the UNESCO list since 2002. Dahab suits friends and nature lovers more than those looking for large resorts, and we usually pair it with a stay in Sharm El Sheikh.
