Discover Milan
Milan is a world capital of fashion and design, known for its Duomo and its luxury shopping. Work on the cathedral began in 1386, and you can walk on its marble roof among the spires for a view over the city.
Next to the cathedral runs the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with its glass roof and historic shops, and a few minutes away is the fashion district of Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie holds Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper, a World Heritage site that must be booked in advance.
Milan is also the gateway to the north: direct flights arrive from Jeddah and Riyadh, Lake Como is about an hour away, and Verona and Venice are about two hours by train or car.
