Genting Highlands

Genting Highlands lies at about 1,800 metres above sea level, 58 km from Kuala Lumpur, roughly an hour by car. Temperatures stay between 14 and 22 °C all year, a break from the city's heat and humidity.

The best way up is the Awana SkyWay cable car, which runs 2.6 km over the rainforest and stops halfway at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets. At the top is Genting SkyWorlds, an outdoor theme park opened in 2022.
