About The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
A 400-room hotel in a neoclassical building completed in 1928 as the General Post Office, a national monument since 2015, facing Marina Bay and the Singapore River.
The Fullerton building was completed in 1928 and named after Robert Fullerton, first Governor of the Straits Settlements; it housed the General Post Office, the Exchange and the Singapore Club. Converted into a hotel, it opened in 2001, and in 2015 it became Singapore's 71st national monument.
The hotel has 400 rooms and suites: some face Marina Bay and Marina Bay Sands, some the river, and the Heritage Rooms look into the grand atrium. Straits Club rooms and suites include lounge access.
Its position at the river mouth puts the Merlion, the waterfront promenade and the train station a few minutes' walk away. We ask the hotel to confirm halal options in advance.
