Balloon flight over Cappadocia
You rise with the first light over the fairy chimneys and valleys of Göreme. An hour in the air that stays with you.

The experience
The dawn balloon flight is Cappadocia's best-known experience. The day starts before sunrise, when a car collects you from your hotel and takes you to the launch site, where the balloons fill with hot air one after another.
The flight lasts about an hour. The balloon rises over the valleys of Göreme and Uçhisar and then drops between them, so you see the rock columns and carved dwellings from an angle the ground never gives. As the sun comes up, the valleys turn pink and gold, and dozens of balloons fill the sky around you.
We book with licensed operators, and can arrange a private basket for your family, or for the two of you, instead of a shared one. After landing you return to your hotel for breakfast.
Flights depend on the weather and are cleared by the authorities each morning. That is why we recommend at least two nights in Cappadocia, so you keep a second morning if the first is cancelled.
