The day starts at the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque and the Blue Mosque opposite, with Topkapı Palace and the Chamber of the Sacred Relics, home of the Prophet's Mantle, in the afternoon. We time the visits around the prayers, when the mosques close to sightseers, and you can join the congregation to pray.
Good to know
- Modest dress, and a headscarf for women in the mosques
- Topkapı Palace is closed on Tuesdays
