An art hotel on Tjuvholmen, on the fjord

A luxury hotel on Tjuvholmen on Oslo's waterfront, with balconied rooms, a spa with a pool, and the Astrup Fearnley Museum next door.
The Thief stands on the small island of Tjuvholmen at the end of Aker Brygge, where Oslo meets the fjord. Its name recalls the island's old history as a haunt of outlaws; today it is one of the capital's smartest districts, with a harbour promenade, restaurants and the Astrup Fearnley Museum of modern art a few steps away, with tickets included in your stay.
Rooms are contemporary, with floor-to-ceiling windows, and most have private balconies over the canals or the fjord. Two large suites on the eighth floor face the fjord, the largest being the 94 m² Oslo Suite. The hotel has the THIEF Spa with a calm indoor pool and gym, a restaurant and a rooftop terrace over the water.
