About Hameau Albert 1er, Chamonix
Run by the Carrier family for five generations, it combines a historic hotel, a restored Alpine farmhouse and private chalets, with a heated indoor-outdoor pool and a spa.
Hameau Albert 1er stands in about a hectare of gardens in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. It is run by the Carrier family, whose roots in the valley go back centuries and who have welcomed guests since 1903. The hotel is a member of Relais & Châteaux and its restaurant holds a Michelin star.
Rooms are spread over three parts: the historic Albert 1er building with 21 rooms and suites, La Ferme, a restored farmhouse with larger rooms and a family apartment, and independent chalets in the garden built from reclaimed wood. Many balconies face the Mont Blanc range directly.
In summer it suits families heading up the Aiguille du Midi and the Montenvers train; in winter it suits skiers and snow lovers. Our team arranges the transfer from Geneva airport, halal meal requests and the chalet or suite that fits the size of your family.
