About Airelles Gordes, La Bastide

34 rooms and 6 suites in 18th-century style, hanging gardens over the valley, a Guerlain spa and a kids' club. A seasonal hotel, open from spring to autumn.

La Bastide stands in Gordes, one of the most beautiful stone villages of Provence, directly above the Luberon valley. The hotel describes itself as a typical Provençal palace, and its hanging gardens step down in terraces over the valley and the surrounding hills.

It has 34 rooms and 6 suites furnished with antiques and fine fabrics in 18th-century style, plus La Maison de Constance, a private villa with a pool for up to 10 guests, suited to a large family who want complete privacy. Younger guests have their own kids' club, Le Royaume des Enfants.

The hotel is seasonal: it closes in winter and its announced reopening date is 22 April 2027. It is about an hour and a quarter by car from Marseille Provence airport, and close to Sénanque Abbey and the lavender fields, which bloom from late June to mid-July. Our team arranges the car and driver and halal meal requests.
