The experience
The Petronas Twin Towers are Kuala Lumpur's symbol: 452 metres and 88 floors, officially opened in 1999. They are joined by a two-storey skybridge on floors 41 and 42, 170 metres above the ground.
We book timed tickets for you. You go first to the skybridge, then to the observation deck on the 86th floor at 370 metres, with the whole city, the KL Tower and the hills on the horizon.
Afterwards, walk in KLCC Park below the towers, with a children's playground and a lake where musical fountain shows play in the evening. At the base is the Suria KLCC mall, with shops, restaurants and a prayer room.
The best time for photographs is just before sunset, as the steel façades light up.
