A Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor
Three or four nights on a fine ship that stops at the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. The green banks and the desert pass by your deck.

The experience
A cruise is the finest way to see Upper Egypt: you stay in a cabin facing the river and reach the temples without long drives. Ships sail between Aswan and Luxor, about 200 km of river, usually in 3 nights from Aswan to Luxor or 4 nights the other way.
On the way you stop at the double temple of Kom Ombo above the river and the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best preserved of all Egyptian temples, and pass through the lock at Esna. In Luxor you visit the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor Temple before leaving the ship.
We choose a ship from the luxury category, with spacious cabins and suites with balconies, full board on board, and a specialist guide for the visits. For families we ask for connecting suites or neighbouring cabins and arrange meals to suit you.
The best season is October to April. In summer, visits start at dawn and return to the ship before the heat builds.
