Germany
6 nights between the Bavarian Alps and the forests of the south-west
A private journey through Germany's green south, starting in Munich and ending in Frankfurt, both with flights from Saudi Arabia. The first half is in the Bavarian Alps: Schloss Elmau with its family spas and children's clubs, and day trips to Germany's highest peak and its best-known castle.
The second half is in the Black Forest: Brenners Park-Hotel on the Lichtentaler Allee in Baden-Baden, with a day on the High Road among the pines, lakes and waterfalls, and a quiet day in the town and its gardens.
Every transfer is by private car with a driver, and we arrange halal dining at both hotels in advance. The best dates are June to September.
Day 1
Meeting at Munich airport and a private car to Schloss Elmau, about an hour and a half. The rest of the day to rest in the spa.
Day 2
In the morning to Lake Eibsee and the cable car to the 2,962-metre summit, then a walk by the lake and an evening in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Day 3
A drive of about an hour and a quarter to Hohenschwangau, the guided castle tour, the Marienbrücke and the Alpsee, and back to Elmau.
Day 4
A private drive to Baden-Baden of about 4 hours with a lunch stop. Evening on the Lichtentaler Allee.
Day 5
A day on the High Road: the Mummelsee, then the Triberg Waterfalls and the cuckoo-clock makers, with Lake Titisee as an option.
Day 6
A free day at the Villa Stéphanie spa, or a walk through the old town and its gardens.
Day 7
Private car to Frankfurt airport, about an hour and forty minutes, and your flight home.
