Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex

A stay on Dilijan's historic street

Historic palace

About Tufenkian Old Dilijan Complex

18 rooms in nineteenth-century stone houses on restored Sharambeyan Street in Dilijan, with hand-made woollen bedspreads and a Western Armenian restaurant.

The complex stands on Sharambeyan Street, the rebuilt old quarter in the centre of Dilijan, which recreates the late nineteenth century with stone houses and wooden balconies. Around it are craft workshops reviving traditional Armenian arts.

It has 18 rooms, mostly in the Ananov guest house, with hand-woven woollen bedspreads, wooden furniture and soft lighting. They range from small rooms to family rooms and duplexes, and the 106 m² Ananov Suite.

It suits travellers who want nature and quiet: the forests of Dilijan National Park, Haghartsin Monastery and Lake Parz are a short drive away, and Lake Sevan about half an hour.

Dining

At the table

Haykanoush Restaurant, in its own building, serves Western Armenian cooking, with free board games for guests in the evenings. We order vegetable, chicken and fish dishes for you.

Wellness

Rest and renewal

The complex has no spa; wellness here means clean air and walking trails in the surrounding forests.
