A day of springs in Karlovy Vary
A stroll between the colonnades and hot springs with the traditional porcelain cup, and a mineral-water treatment.

The experience
Karlovy Vary has been known for centuries for cures with its hot mineral waters, and is now one of UNESCO's Great Spa Towns of Europe. Several springs flow in the town, each with its own temperature and composition, and they are sipped slowly while walking, a tradition known as the drinking cure.
The stroll begins at the classical Mill Colonnade, then the wooden Market Colonnade, and on to the Hot Spring Colonnade, where the Vřídlo bursts out at about 73°C. Buy the traditional porcelain cup with a spout in its handle: it is your drinking vessel and a fine keepsake.
In the afternoon we book a session at your hotel spa or at one of the town's treatment houses. A full medical cure with the mineral waters usually takes a week or more after a medical check, which we arrange on request.
And do not leave without Karlovy Vary spa wafers, the thin biscuits baked in the town.
