Pierogi
Pierogi are Poland's national dish: thin dough filled, boiled and served with butter and fried onion. The best known, ruskie, are filled with potato and white cheese and are vegetarian; in summer there are sweet pierogi with blueberries or strawberries. Ask about the filling, as some contain meat or are topped with bacon.
Halal dining can be arranged at every hotel we recommend; tell us your preferences and we brief the chefs before you arrive.
