St Petersburg Cathedral Mosque
Соборная мечеть Санкт-Петербурга
St Petersburg's Cathedral Mosque was built in the early twentieth century near the Peter and Paul Fortress and opened in 1913. Its turquoise dome and glazed tile facades take their inspiration from the Gur-e-Amir mausoleum in Samarkand. It is a working mosque with daily and Friday prayers, and we can include a visit in your programme.
