Putra Mosque stands on Putra Square in the administrative capital Putrajaya, south of Kuala Lumpur, its pink dome reflected in the lake. It was built of rose-tinted granite between 1997 and 1999 and holds 15,000 worshippers. After the visit you can take a boat on the lake past the bridges and government buildings.
