Masjid Jamek
Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad
Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback in Mughal style, with two red-and-white banded minarets and three domes, the mosque opened in 1909. It was the capital's main mosque until the National Mosque was built in 1965, and in 2017 it was renamed the Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque.
It is next to Masjid Jamek LRT station, a few minutes from Merdeka Square.
