Amalienborg Palace
Amalienborg
Amalienborg is four matching 18th-century palaces around an octagonal square, with an equestrian statue of King Frederik V at its centre. The royal guard changes in the square every day at noon, and the Amalienborg Museum in one of the palaces is open to visitors. From the square you see the dome of the Marble Church on one side and the Opera House across the harbour on the other.
