Vietnam
A hotel, a cruise and a lodge, with tours in and around Hanoi
A journey full of sightseeing in the heart of northern Vietnam. It starts in Hanoi, then spends a night aboard a ship among the islands of Ha Long Bay and two nights in a lodge among the limestone hills of Ninh Binh, before returning to Hanoi.
It includes airport transfers, a hotel, a cruise and a lodge with daily breakfast, and a range of tours in and around Hanoi.
Day 1
Meet at Noi Bai airport and transfer to the hotel. A free evening around Hoan Kiem Lake.
Day 2
The Old Quarter, Ngoc Son temple, the Temple of Literature and the French Quarter.
Day 3
The drive to Ha Long (about 2 h 30 min) and boarding at midday. Cruising among the islands with a cave visit, then dinner and the night on board.
Day 4
Breakfast on board and a last excursion, then the drive to Ninh Binh (about 3 hours) and arrival at the lodge among the hills.
Day 5
A boat trip through Trang An among limestone peaks and caves, and a visit to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.
Day 6
Return to Hanoi (about two hours), with a free afternoon for shopping.
Day 7
A free day; a water-puppet show or a visit to West Lake can be added.
Day 8
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
