Thailand
The capital, the mountain north and the Andaman Sea in one journey
We designed this journey for a first visit to Thailand, to see the whole country without hurrying. It begins with three nights in Bangkok in a hotel on the Chao Phraya, continues with two nights in milder Chiang Mai and its elephant sanctuaries, and ends with three nights on a Krabi beach.
Short domestic flights link the cities, and at each stop you have a private car with driver and a guide for the tours. We arrange halal meals, prayer times and connecting rooms or family suites as you need.
The plan is flexible: Krabi can become Phuket, or you can add nights on Koh Samui in the summer months. Price on request, depending on hotels and season.
Day 1
Private meet and greet at Suvarnabhumi Airport and transfer to your riverside hotel (about 45 minutes). The rest of the day is free, with a quiet dinner by the Chao Phraya.
Day 2
Early morning private tour of the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho, then a short boat to Wat Arun. Rest in the afternoon and shop at ICONSIAM in the evening.
Day 3
Choose a morning at the Damnoen Saduak floating market (about two hours by car) or a day at Ayutthaya, the old World Heritage capital, returning by boat on the river.
Day 4
Domestic flight to Chiang Mai (about 1 h 10 min). In the afternoon, a tour of the old city and a sunset visit to Doi Suthep.
Day 5
Drive to an ethical elephant sanctuary in the Mae Taeng valley (about 1 h 30 min). Feed the elephants and walk with them to the river, returning to the hotel in the evening.
Day 6
Fly to Krabi via Bangkok, or direct when scheduled, and transfer to your beach resort. A free evening by the sea.
Day 7
A day in Phang Nga Bay and Koh Panyee, or half a day around the Four Islands by long-tail boat, as you prefer and as the sea allows.
Day 8
A day for rest, swimming and the spa, or a walk to Railay beach.
Day 9
Transfer to Krabi airport for your flight home via Bangkok or Phuket.
