Day by day

1. Day 1

   Arrive in Bern

   Private car from the airport to your hotel in Bern. In the evening, a walk under the stone arcades of the old town.

2. Day 2

   Bern, the capital

   The Zytglogge clock tower, the Bear Park and the Rose Garden above the city, then a walk by the River Aare.

3. Day 3

   To Lucerne

   Private car to Lucerne in about 1 h 15. The Chapel Bridge, the Water Tower, the Lion Monument and the old town.

4. Day 4

   A day in the mountains

   Mount Pilatus by cogwheel railway and cable car, or Mount Titlis from Engelberg (about 45 minutes by car), depending on the season.

5. Day 5

   To Lausanne via Interlaken

   A stop in Interlaken between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, then on to Lausanne on Lake Geneva. About 2 h 30 of driving in all.

6. Day 6

   Lausanne and Montreux

   The Olympic Museum and Ouchy in the morning, then Chillon Castle and the Montreux promenade in the afternoon.

7. Day 7

   Departure

   Private car to the airport for your flight home.
