From Tbilisi to Baku by road in 6 nights
A journey that brings two Caucasus countries together in a week. You arrive in Tbilisi for three nights, with the old town, Mtskheta and the Military Road to Kazbegi, then cross into Azerbaijan by road.
In Azerbaijan you stop in Sheki and its Khan's Palace on the Silk Road, then in Gabala with its mountains and Lake Nohur, before reaching Baku on the Caspian, where you fly home.
It includes airport welcome and farewell, hotel bookings with buffet breakfast, every transfer by private car, a phone line with a data package for each traveller, all taxes, 24-hour customer service, and travel insurance for each traveller over 18 in Georgia. Stays in cottages and villas do not include breakfast.
Day 1
Airport welcome, transfer to the hotel and your phone lines.
Day 2
The old town, the sulphur baths and the Narikala cable car, then Mtskheta and Jvari Monastery in the afternoon.
Day 3
A full day on the Military Road: Ananuri, Gudauri and Gergeti church, back in Tbilisi in the evening.
Day 4
East to the Lagodekhi border crossing and on to Sheki in Azerbaijan, about five hours with the border formalities.
Day 5
The Khan's Palace and the Upper Caravanserai in the morning, then about an hour and a half to Gabala and Lake Nohur.
Day 6
The Tufandağ cable car in the morning, then about four hours to Baku via Shamakhi, and an evening on the Caspian boulevard.
Day 7
The Old City and the Shirvanshahs' Palace, depending on your flight time, then the transfer to the airport.
