About Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta
Indonesia's first international hotel, opened in 1962, now overlooking the Bundaran HI roundabout in central Jakarta and connected directly to Grand Indonesia mall.
Hotel Indonesia opened in 1962, just before the Asian Games held in Jakarta, as the country's first international hotel. After a full renovation it reopened under Kempinski and is now one of the capital's leading hotels, overlooking the Bundaran HI roundabout, its fountain and the Welcome Monument.
For families, its great advantage is a direct link to Grand Indonesia mall, and large family rooms: two connecting rooms for up to 5 or 6 guests, facing the roundabout or the inner courtyard. Every room has both a bathtub and a separate rain shower.
It is on the main Thamrin avenue, close to the embassies, Istiqlal Mosque and the National Monument. We ask the hotel to confirm halal meals in advance.
