Trang An is in Ninh Binh province, about two hours south of Hanoi, and was inscribed by UNESCO in 2014 for both its nature and its culture. Village rowers take you in a small boat along a quiet river that passes under the mountains through low caves, by old temples and rice fields. It combines well with the ancient capital of Hoa Lu in one day.
