May to September; Sundays for the Chopin concerts
Start at the Royal Castle and the rebuilt Old Town, then walk south along Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat past palaces, churches and cafés to the Royal Łazienki Park, its Palace on the Isle and its free-roaming peacocks. To go further, the Baroque Wilanów Palace is about 20 minutes away by car.
