The cable car runs from Kuźnice in Zakopane to the summit of Kasprowy Wierch at 1,987 metres, on the Slovak border. In winter there are ski runs; in summer, walking trails and views over the Tatra peaks on both sides. Book a timed ticket in advance, as queues are long in season.
