The Mutrah Corniche at sunset

The Mutrah Corniche curves around a small bay ringed by mountains, between the fish market, Mutrah Fort and the souk entrance. At sunset the white houses and mosques along the waterfront light up and families fill the promenade. Combine the walk with the souk and an Omani dinner nearby.

- Shops close at midday and reopen late afternoon
- Parking is tight on Thursday evenings
