The High Atlas and Imlil
Full day
April to October
Imlil is an Amazigh village at the foot of Toubkal (4,167 metres), the highest peak in North Africa. You walk among terraced fields, walnut trees and earthen villages with a local guide, and take lunch or tea in an Amazigh home. The road can include the Ourika Valley or the Lalla Takerkoust lake.
Good to know
- Walking is easy to moderate
- Noticeably cooler than Marrakech
- A mule can be hired for elders and children
