A day on Nusa Penida

April to October, when the sea is calmer
A fast boat from Sanur beach reaches Nusa Penida in about 45 minutes. A private car and driver then take you to the best-known viewpoints: Kelingking bay, with its cliff shaped like a dinosaur's head, Broken Beach and the natural rock pool known as Angel's Billabong.
Roads on the island are narrow and rough, so we plan only three viewpoints in a day, without rushing.
Good to know
- The path down to Kelingking beach is very steep and we do not recommend it
- Boats can be cancelled in rough seas
