The Verdon Gorge and Lac de Sainte-Croix

The Verdon River cuts a deep gorge through limestone cliffs, and its turquoise water ends in the Lac de Sainte-Croix. At the Pont du Galetas a family can hire an electric boat or a pedal boat and glide between the cliffs, and combine it with the Route des Crêtes viewpoints by car. It is about 30 minutes from Valensole, so it pairs easily with a lavender day.
