The Old Town (Den Gamle By) is an open-air museum of historic houses, workshops and shops moved from Danish towns and rebuilt as complete streets. It runs from 17th-century houses such as the Mintmaster's Mansion to 20th-century neighbourhoods, with staff in the dress of each period, and children enjoy it as much as adults.
