Ksamil is a seaside village between Sarandë and Butrint, facing four small wooded islands, with shallow clear water that suits children. We book a private boat that circles the islands and stops at the quietest beaches, or loungers at a well-run beach club.

Public beaches are crowded in July and August, so we suggest June and September, or a private boat away from the crowds.
